A special plane carrying foreign diplomats will take off from the royal terminal of Riyadh’s King Khaled International Airport for Jeddah today to allow them to offer in person their condolences on the death of Crown Prince Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior.
A book of condolence for diplomats will be opened at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following the death of Crown Prince Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, said Alauddin A. Alaskary, deputy minister for protocol affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, here yesterday.
Saudi Arabia has stepped up efforts to promote the use of Arabic language among expatriates in a bid to spread Arab culture. “The plan is to interact with students of different nationalities currently enrolled in various foreign schools of the Kingdom,” said Gumaan S. Alkahtani, general manager of the Riyadh-based Arab Institute for Arabic Language (ARABI), here yesterday.
